Previewing North Face 100, Sydney Blue Mountains 2011

Absolutely great article by Pat Kinsella in the latest issue of Outer Edge Magazine. Read all about the hot international and local talent that will be fighting it out up Kedumba Walls this May in what will likely be the fastest, hardest, most throwdown, drag-out, ass-kicking North Face 100 ever. Such a good read (apart from the various spellings of ‘Kilian’ – sub-editor, hi?) that even the local organiser of the event says it got him geed up and impatient to see what happens.
Stu Gibson unfortunately is out with tendon issues, despite – or perhaps following – his huge sub-7-hour winning of the Bogong to Hotham 64km mountain classic. But his prediction that this year might go sub-9 in Katoomba is definitely on the cards.
